Acupressure is a gentle, hands-on technique where light pressure is applied to specific points on your dog’s body to support healing and restore balance.

I often incorporate into Massage & Physiotherapy Consultations.

There are many benefits. It can help to

• stimulate the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers

• reduce pain signals travelling to the brain

• improve circulation and reduce stiffness

• calm the nervous system and support overall wellbeing

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, acupressure works by encouraging the smooth flow of Qi (energy) along pathways in the body called meridians.

These meridians are thought to relate closely to aspects of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular & nervous systems.
